FAQ's

How much does this kick-axe activity cost and do I have to pay up front?

The cost is $20 per person for the 60-minute reservation or $35 per person for a 2 hour session. Spectators who are not throwing will be charged $5. You pay when you make the reservation online with our non refundable $5.00 booking deposit.

Walk-ins: how do they work?

We cannot guarantee a spot for walk-ins, but we will do our best to schedule your closed event for your group if there is an opening.  We encourage you to book online to guarantee your desired date and time. When we do have walk-in space (usually weeknights), the range times only start at fixed times, so you probably won't be able to walk in and start throwing. You will have to wait until the next available start time; kind of like walking in to the movies.

For current start times, click the 'book now' button to select the date you want to walk-in. If it shows spaces are available, your best bet is to just reserve the spots!

Do I need a large group to throw?

No. If you come with three or less in your group, we may add you to another group or split that larger group between two ranges, which is very rare.

We are all booking separately to pay individually, will we get to throw together?

Use the ‘notes’ section during the checkout process to tell us if you are booking a session with other people. Pick one group name so we know you are together when you check in. The best way to book your session is to book one event, under one name.

What ages can throw?

You must be at least 8 years old and have the strength and coordination to effectively throw a hatchet as judged by our Ax-perts. Officially, there must be one adult per three children ages 8 to 14; teenagers ages 15 to 17 need one adult per range. All children must be under the immediate control of an adult! For safety reasons, we request that children ages 7 & under do not join you on-site for your session.

What if I am late?

PLEASE MAKE SURE TO ARRIVE 15 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR START TIME!

If you have reserved a lane, but check in after your start time, you still have that lane reserved for your group, but will need to end your session at the allotted time you agreed to when booking. Out of respect for the next group, we appreciate you ending on time.

Can we bring our own food and drink?

Yes, feel free to bring your own food or drink (Non-alcoholic) for public sessions, but please clean up after your group.

How do I book Birthday Parties, Team Building, Bachelor(ette) Parties?

It’s easy! If you bring a light snack for your group, just make a regular booking online and follow the rules below and include in the ‘Notes’ section at check-out what type of event you’re having.

If you choose to cater your event, please contact us directly to book the event so we can talk through the details and expectations.

What is your cancellation policy?

Oh, no you don't! You can't chicken out! The $5.00 booking fee online is non refundable.  If you book a Special Event, you will get a full refund up to 7 days before your reservation.

Can I change or cancel my booking online?

While we do not do refunds for cancellations, we will let you reschedule your booking for another time.
*Any spectators will be charged $5.00 per person if they are not throwing.

Will we be taught how to throw?

You bet! Each range has a dedicated Ax-pert that not only teaches the rules, but coaches you on how to throw.

What should I wear? Do I have to wear a plaid lumberjack shirt?

We only have two requirements:
• Closed toe shoes. (no high heels even if they are closed toe)
• A shirt which gives you full range of motion.

Are you handicapped accessible? Can I throw if I am in a wheelchair?

Absolutely! We are handicap accessible and you can throw from your wheelchair.

Can I bring my own axe?

Of course, you can, but it must meet our guidelines. Your Axe Master has the final say.

Can I buy a gift certificate?

Yes. Bull’s Eye Axe Throwing Gift Certificates are fantastic gift ideas for that person who has everything (or just likes to do everything)! Plus, they will probably bring you! Contact us or come in during business hours to buy one today!

Where can we find our photos?

We post each motley crew on our B.E.A.T. Facebook page in albums by date and location. Please tag yourself, like and share!

Do Ax-perts accept tips?

Tipping is never required but always appreciated! Our Ax-perts trainers will do their best to make your experience fun and exciting. It is nice to show them some love!
